Wonder Woman is one of the biggest female icons of ninth art and pop culture. Created by William Moulton Marston and Harry G. Peter in 1941, she is Princess Diana, an Amazonian half-queen of Themyscira, Paradise Island, and daughter of Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons. Its origins have changed several times over the years, Diana was a nurse and military intelligence officer, an agent of the American government, ambassador among other activities besides Amazon warrior, with changes in its history and visual, but its essence as the greatest of heroines has always been the same, coming to the so-called "world of men" to promote and defend peace and justice.

With superhuman powers and abilities, and her mystical tie of truth, she makes up the so-called "Trinity" in the DC universe alongside Superman and Batman, being the point of balance between the two heroes of often opposing ideologies. In the movie universe DC, actress Gal Gadot made her debut as Diana Prince and a memorable first appearance as Wonder Woman.
