Psylocke is Betsy Braddock, a telepathic mutant and ninja, sister of the hero Captain Britannia. When she began to develop her powers, she worked in S.T.R.I.K.E., the English division of S.H.I.E.L.D., but was kidnapped by Mojo, villain of another dimension, who baptized her as Psylocke.
Rescued by the New Mutants, Betsy joined the X-Men where she later changed physically and psychologically. His potential was totally released by Jean Gray from the "Age of Apocalypse," and Betsy, currently has telekinesis, which allows her to create weapons, forcefields and increase her physical potential and telepathy so powerful that she resembles that of Emma Frost and Jean Gray , besides being an Omega mutant.
